Snake attack!!

I don't know, but December looks like a month of the snakes this year. Early in the month I encountered one, which I unfortunately forget to photo with its head still on...
Yes, apologises to all snake lovers, I am sure they are cute animals, and all, but not in my garden, thank you! BTW, that was said to be a poisonous one.

But yesterday, for my surprise my wife woke me up in the morning that there is 2 snakes in the garden. This time I didn't miss to photo them, but they were fast to "run", I think they knew they running for their lives. I found that they probably leave under the roof of my neighbor. They usually stay only for the weekends here, so, probably good place for the snakes to set up their home there. I don't mind if they do, as long as they don't visit me often, or they will run into the machete like their cousin.

The photos not outstanding, as these snakes wasn't there to model for me, remember, they were on the move for their life. The background is courtesy of my neighbor, I believe he could tidy up things a bit, but can I say that loud? Nah...

Our orchids, Part 3.

Once, again, some more of our new orchids.
Really try to have different looking ones, and they all beautiful. Luckily, we have plenty of space to hang them up around the house, and they really look great, a nice addition to our house.
Also, a good thing they hang is that when the rabbits are out, they cant attack them. They already ate some of out other flowers, particularly a purple-green kind is their favorite. But I wont give them the orchids too!!

Orchids, Part 2

As I promised a few days ago, hear is more of our orchids. We had bought some purple too. Actually six more different orchids, but I will post only four photos, I think it will be enough. All orchids are real beautiful, and maybe one day I will have to post a part 3 as well...not as I would really mind to do that. There is still plenty of space to hang them, and I know sooner or later we will have more. Rather sooner, thinking of it. We found a shop near buy this time, where the seller was really helpful and friendly, and prices are cheap too. A beautiful orchid like on the photo cost only 3$!! Steeling for that price! I hope you like the photos, though they can't fully give back the real look of the flowers, i tried my best!

Our orchids

hi

Last week we decided that to have a few orchids would make a nice addition to our other flowers.
So far we have only 3, but will add more to the collection soon, maybe a purple being the next. Or a red. Or an orange. Real difficult to choose, as there are so many beautiful one. Good thing that we have plenty of space at the side of the house to hang them up. Orchids love to be hang. Then they van have all their air-roots collect what they need. They actually don't need any soil at all, however strange it is first to see. But if they are happy, I am happy, and sure they look a beautiful addition to our other flowers!
